You can find great food all over Nashville but great food and even greater service will always win your heart. This is my goto place when visiting home. Make it yours... Oh yeah I had the scallops and my husband had the pork chops delicious is the only universal I can use to describe our experience.

Urban Grub is an absolutely fantastic place with terrific food, amazing and welcoming staff, and the best shrimp and grits in town. It's a true Nashville gem that I encourage everyone to check out.

I been here once before and wasn't that hungry. So I was excited to try them out for my wedding anniversary dinner. The wait staff here were so friendly and made us feel special for the night, from giving us a little toast of wine and providing us a sweet treat. I liked that we weren't rush through our dinner and they brought out our appetizers and entrees with ample space in between. We had the crab cake and the crab beignets. Both were really good but I recommend the crab beignets which i ate too fast to take a picture. The baked macaroni and cheese was also really good, cheesy and a little crispy on top just how i like it. Overall, the dinner was great and i had no complaints. It was perfect for our celebration.

Bacon and Jam....Bacon and Jam with Feta....Bacon and Jam with Feta and Sunflower seeds over crispy Brussels... Who ever had the Idea to put Bacon and Jam together? Did someone drop an English breakfast and try to salvage it and in the process made a discovery? Who was it...I really want to know! It was a mark of genius! The Bartender was not only easy on the eyes but he was also very knowledgeable about all of the wines, and the ingredients and cooking process of every menu item. A foodies dream! The burger was hands down my favorite burger I've had in years. And I'm a burger girl.... Now get out of my way while I order another one to go!

If you leave without having the Green Goddess dressing, you haven't really been to Urban Grub. The vibe here is outstanding. The greenery and trees surrounding the restaurant are a mood. It feels like you are dining in a tree. My family comes here for celebrations, weddings, awards...it's a restaurant we all can agree on where the food, drinks, and ambience are perfect. Definitely make a reservation so you can just walk in and sit. If not, expect a very long wait. Parking can be tricky unless you have that "good good" luck & energy. I always drive up and right into a park by the front door. I would caution anyone else though to leave ample parking time. There is valet as well but for some reason I have not every seen anyone out there or using it so not sure it actually exists. For apps recommend the brussel sprouts and crab cake. The salads are divine but definitely shareable as they are HUGE and full of fresh ingredients. The House Salad is my favorite with Green Goddess on the side. The filet is my go to for main. The filet melts in your mouth and the worcestershire sauce and sauteed shallots is so delish & favorable. Other popular dishes: The Pork Chop & The Ribs...both are amazing. They have a build your on Charcuterie Board which looked really fun and the seafood options are great too. Why not 5 stars? Service is not consistent. We had an excellent waitress but little things like randomly missing a fork in the napkin, leaking tea kettles that spilled on both of my sisters, or another example was no bag for five take away boxes without asking. These things are NOT show stoppers for ME but I did want to explain the rating provided. At the price points (~$20-50 per entree with no sides included in many so figure another $10 per sides, $10-20 per app, and if you are drinking you can easily hit $75-100 per person. At that price point, some may not take kindly to missing a fork etc. I say relax and enjoy the amazing food. Another tip..come early or go for a walk after. The area around the restaurant is just so much fun!! Bars, Bakeries, Cereal Waffle Ice Cream shop, and Bookstores. I mean this is the PERFECT location for like EVERYTHING! Get your steps in before and after by fully enjoying the very walkable neighborhood surrounding Urban Grub!

Easy to make reservations for a large! Staff was friendly! Valet quick and efficient ! Food was simply delicious! Can't go wrong when you go to Urban Grub.

Absolutely lived the food the service the staff. Had them lamb bolognese and I couldn't eat it all but wanted to take 10 orders home. Also loved the grits and ribs shocking my colleague got. And a tip, the sangria was off the charts

Quite a few really delicious things about this restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful, cozy, warm even on a cold day in Tennessee. Appetizers were the bomb starting with some free strawberry biscuits that were amazing. We had some raw oysters and the dozen went quick as they were sweet and delicious. All of that was some crab cakes that were amazing. A really good dipping sauce for those. For dinner an amazing grilled pork chop with a devine sauce and peaches . A wonderful 7oz steak as well. Highly recommend this spot Highly recommend this restaurant for a great romantic outing or getaway with family or friends.

Came here with a group of co workers and enjoyed a family style meal of about 8 courses. We thoroughly enjoyed the selections made- particularly the Double Cut Pork Chop and tomahawk steaks. Service was top notch, our server really took care of us and you can see how truly happy and passionate he was about his job. There was always food and drinks on the table the entire night. Overall a wonderful night thanks to urban grub!
